During the past decade, digital technology has changed at a phenomenal pace. It has significantly altered the way we work and play, the way we socialise and shop, and even our everyday lexicon. Children have access to an array of digital devices, each with more processing power than the most expensive devices available a decade ago. They have access to the world wide web and all that entails through inexpensive handheld devices and smartphones.
