Getting to grips with exporting holds “huge potential” for Ireland’s 3,200 craft producers, according to Karen Hennessy, chief executive of Design and Crafts Council of Ireland

“Export is very important and will become more so over time. Of all the people involved in craft full time, 51 per cent of them are exporting, so here is huge potential there,” said Hennessy.
