Cork 2017: Cask mixologist bound for Mexico and bartender competition

The chief mixologist at a recently-opened cocktail bar in Cork city will represent Ireland at the global World Class Bartender of the Year competition in Mexico in September.

Cask’s Andy Ferreira, who is also bar manager at the MacCurtain Street premises, was crowned World Class Irish Bartender of the Year 2017 last month following the bar’s March launch.
