Hundreds of delegates are expected to converge on this year’s Big Data Belfast2019 on Thursday, October 24, drawn by a line-up of major players from the world of data analytics, including nuclear scientist-turned-machine learning engineer Dr Clair Sullivan from GitHub, AI expert Paul Brook from Dell Technologies, and Zscaler chief information security officer Bil Harmer.
Delegates will hear from experts such as Derek Hosty, head of global data for Diaceutics - the Belfast-headquartered diagnostics data analytics firm which floated on London’s Alternative Investment Market in March. Also speaking are business and technology leaders from Travis Perkins plc, the UK’s largest distributor of building materials as well as trade finance firm Coriolis Technologies, Allstate Northern Ireland and anti-money laundering and compliance augmented intelligence firm Lucidity.
Dr. Aislinn Rice, managing director of organisers Analytics Engines, said: “This year’s conference will focus on how to put data to work and more effectively move data from asset to insight. The intelligent use of data can have a measurable impact on how well a business performs. At Big Data Belfast 2019, we’ll hear from industry thought leaders on how they’ve transformed outcomes and created new areas of opportunity.”
Welcoming thought leaders and delegates from a variety of industries, Big Data Belfast 2019 aims to help individuals and organisations to gain industry-leading insight and engage with decision-makers, experts and talent.
