A student who has just moved from Donegal to Cork could now receive a text message informing them of a corrected grade that entitles them to a place on a higher preference choice

How times change. When I was a teenager, having two sets of Leaving Certificate results carried a certain social embarrassment, as it usually indicated that you had repeated sixth year and sat the state exam for a second time. In 2020, having two sets of results indicates that you haven’t sat the exam at all.
