Podcast: Five Degrees of Change - Dr Paul Deane
Daniel Murray is joined by Dr Paul Deane for the latest episode of Five Degrees of Change.

In Five Degrees of Change some of the most influential voices on Energy and Environment will propose three big policy changes, and also outline two small personal changes they have made to contribute to a greener world. In episode nine, host Daniel Murray is joined by senior researcher in energy systems at UCC Dr Paul Deane.

Dr Paul Deane is an expert in the science, policy and economics of energy systems. He spends his time thinking about our energy futures and tries to understand how we will heat our homes, fuel our cars, use our lands and generate electricity in a cleaner way. Using computer modelling tools Paul probes different energy futures from a technical, societal and economical perspective. His research is helping to chart a way forward as the world gets to grips with climate change and the need for a low carbon world.
