The European Investment Bank will continue to lend to fossil gas projects after 2021 as long as they meet strict emissions standards, the bank’s vice president Andrew McDowell has told The Sunday Business Post.

The comments come after member states last week voted for the EIB to stop all financial support for fossil fuels from December 2021.
