An earlier incarnation backed by Denis O’Brien failed to find a site in Dublin, but now the planned €1 billion ‘Irish Financial Services Centre for Shipping’ has found a home - in Cork.

A 70-acre site close to Kent Station and taking in lands on both sides of the river in the city has been identified for a new International Shipping Services Centre at the Port of Cork.
