Quirky Nights Glamping Village, the transport-themed accommodation park being developed by Sligo businessman David McGowan, has secured planning permission after two years and is set to break ground on the first phase of the development this month.

McGowan told The Sunday Business Post that he was to begin work on the glamping village’s shop, supermarket, forecourt, deli and restaurant in the coming weeks after being held up by planning permission.
