Online video software developed in Wexford to ease recruitment for big companies has secured Irish company Sonru a global client-base and backing to date of €6 million.

Established in 2007 by Edward Hendrick, the company secured funding of €4.5 million in 2014 from Luxembourg-based Saphir Capital Partners.

Earlier sources of funding totalling €1.5 million had included Kernel Capital, manager of the Bank of Ireland Kernel Growth Funds and state agency Enterprise Ireland.
