Firm offering online medical consultations expects user numbers to double to 12,000 in next 12 months

VideoDoc, which offers online doctors’ consultations, is raising €5.6 million as it expands its offering to include mental health and physiotherapy services.

Mary O’Brien, co-founder and chief executive of VideoDoc, said between 5,000 and 6,000 patients a month in Ireland and Britain use the service, and it expects that figure to double in the next six to 12 months.
