Football can take you to to colourful places. In 2016, little Dundalk, a small club in a provincial town, went on an unlikely European journey in the Europa League. Irish sides punching against big names on foreign soil is a true delight, and I figured it would be nice to take in some new cities.

The Louth side played matches that summer in Iceland, Poland and the Netherlands, allowing yours truly to take in Reykjavík, Warsaw...
