The personal emergency response system has been designed to protect people who are at risk of physical attack. This would include everyone from retail workers to remote installation and technician teams

A personal emergency response system designed to keep staff safe when dealing with the public will launch in Ireland next month. The product, Umbrella, was developed by Essence, an Israeli-based company that develops internet of things-enabled connected living technology.
