UCD spin-out targets top US athletes with wearables pitch

Science start-up Output Sports has developed a wearable motion sensor that tests and tracks athletic performance.

The start-up was established in 2018 by co-founders Martin O’Reilly, Darragh Whelan, Julian Eberle and Brian Caulfield.

They have developed machine-learning algorithms based on unique athletic data-sets collected over more than five years of interdisciplinary research.
