Brothers Nick and Andy Barry have the global automotive industry in their sights, having developed adhesive technology that will lighten the load for car manufacturers under pressure to meet fuel efficiency and emissions targets.

The brothers established Plasmabound last November, as a spin-off from University College Dublin’s School of Engineering, to commercialise adhesive technology they have developed to bond lightweight materials.
