TV3 set for sale as suitors circle

Station’s investor keen to exit channel

TV3 looks set to be sold later this year after receiving a number of takeover approaches.

The Sunday Business Post has learned that while no formal sales process is under way, following the unsolicited offers in the last few months, the channel will consider bids for the business.

It’s thought that TV3’s long-time investor, the British private equity company Doughty Hanson, is keen to exit the channel.
