Turnover falls at Furlong’s carpet firm

Furlong Investments, the carpet and flooring company owned by veteran businessman and poker player Noel Furlong, saw its turnover and profits drop in 2016.

The company’s turnover fell from €107.1 million to €97.8 million, while its gross profit fell from €35.3 million to €30.7 million. Nevertheless, the company’s accumulated profits rose from €60.7 million to €67.2 million.
