Only a handful of mortgage customers affected by recent flooding around the country have approached lenders seeking flexibility with their mortgage repayments.

Last month, a number of banks indicated that they would be flexible with mortgage customers affected by flooding.

However, only a small number of customers are understood to have availed of the lenders’ offers.
