TRG buys Wagamama chain for £357m

The Restaurant Group (TRG), the British restaurant and pub chain headed byformer Paddy Power chief executive Andy McCue, has announced plans to acquire the Wagamama chain of Asian restaurants for £357m.
It will also take on Wagamama’s net debt of £202m. Wagamama has 133 directly-operated restaurants in the UK and five in the US. It also has 58 franchised restaurants in other countries, including three in Dublin.
