This year’s summer transfer window has seen record-breaking transfer fees and club spending.
Manchester City topped the spending league with €250 million laid out on transfer fees, closely followed by Paris Saint-Germain. In total, English Premier League clubs spent over €1.5 billion on fees in the transfer window – and that’s before inflated player remuneration and agency fees are factored in.
