Legendary games designer John Romero has been working hard in his Galway studio. He is planning to launch new levels of his groundbreaking 1993 shoot-em-up Doom in a new project called Sigil, in mid-February.
The free so-called megawad has nine new single-player and nine deathmatch levels. Romero, the man who also created Quake, moved to the west of Ireland from California four years ago with his wife Brenda, a Bafta-winning games designer.
