Michael Lynn’s criminal trial is due to begin. The solicitor is facing 21 charges relating to the theft of almost €30 million from seven financial institutions, including Irish Nationwide and Ulster Bank. In March 2018, he was extradited from Brazil, where he had been living for several years.
