Our political leaders owe us stability and certainty about how much tax we will owe – no matter how they want to raise money to run the government

Albert Einstein is said to have defined insanity as doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results. Ideally taxation policy should not be insane. It should do the same thing over and over again, year after year and not deliver different results. Taxes should be stable and predictable.
