Amajor indigenous organisation is recruiting for 400 secure and well paid jobs in the areas of information and communications technologies, finance and economics. This apparently constitutes a net increase of about 200 in its workforce.

A jobs initiative of the scale usually demands a ministerial announcement and lots of photographs involving banners with corporate logos, glass-fronted lobbies and smiling executives. But the organisation in question is the Revenue Commissioners, so perhaps the usual procedures don’t apply.
