Terry Clune’s job creation scheme has €3.4m deficit
Company is hopeful to be successful in securing a new tender IDA contract expires next year
Connect Ireland, the scheme set up by entrepreneur Terry Clune to use the diaspora to attract jobs, has managed to reduce its losses, but has still racked up a deficit of €3.4 million in the last four years.
The company said it is hopeful that when the five-year contract with the IDA to run the initiative expires next year it will be successful in securing a new tender.
