Tech firm Codec to take on 300 staff

Codec, the Dublin-based technology company, is expanding its workforce by 300 staff over the next three years.

The company, which has offices in Cork, Galway, Belfast, London, Cologne and Warsaw, currently employs 190 staff, but aims to have 500 staff by 2020, according to commercial director John Roddy.

Roddy said the rapid expansion comes as Codec has to meet the demands of a growing client list and new technologies.
