Stripe tycoon Collison backs search for world’s ‘lost Einsteins’

Patrick Collison, the billionaire co-founder of Stripe, has emerged as a backer of Pioneer, a new venture aimed at finding the world’s “lost Einsteins”.

Collision has teamed up with other experts including Marc Andreessen, the venture capitalist and co-founder of Netscape; Tom Standage, the deputy editor of the Economist; and Stanford theoretical physicist Adam Brown.
