You can tell it’s autumn. The nights are closing in, the leaves are falling and there are sequins on the telly. Sequins, fake tan and the body beautiful. Nothing conveys the impending onset of winter so much as the arrival of dancing on primetime television. Strictly Come Dancing returned to our screens last weekend. It’s as camp as a row of tents, and the public love it.
