Couple behind the Unicorn restaurant have been on the cusp of bankruptcy for more than a year
Creditors of boomtime restaurateurs Jeff Stokes and Pia Bang Stokes have voted overwhelmingly to accept a massive haircut on the couple’s multimillion-euro debts.
Formerly behind the well-known restaurant The Unicorn on Merrion Row in Dublin and now in their 70s, the Stokes have been on the cusp of bankruptcy for more than a year with debts of over €12 million.
