Sterling fears curb post-Brexit business recovery

Surveys paint brighter picture, but costs and consumer caution are worries

A number of surveys released today show business sentiment regaining some ground in recent weeks after the initial hit caused by Britain’s vote to leave the EU in June.

But there are signs that caution among consumers in the wake of Brexitand sterling’s sharp fall are still affecting many firms.
