Spotify, the Swedish online music streaming giant, is poised to do a deal with Irish music discovery start-up Soundwave.

The innovative Irish technology company has attracted Mark Cuban, the owner of US basketball team the Dallas Mavericks, and seen comedian Stephen Fry help launch its product.
