Small firms' mood brighter, but Brexit a worry

The Small Firms Association’s annual conference has been told that although confidence among its members has improved, it is still below the levels reached before last year’s Brexit vote in Britain.

SFA acting director Linda Barry said the mood of small business owners had increased strongly over the past six months, with 61 per cent telling its summer sentiment survey that the business environment is improving.
