Tesco Ireland has claimed their stores will open as normal on Thursday despite an announcement by workers in more than 70 Tesco stores around Ireland have announced a strike “of indefinite duration” on Thursday morning.

The strike follows the breakdown of talks in the Workplace Relations Commission (WRC) today.
