Ryanair: EU kerosene tax would be ‘very damaging’ for Ireland

A potential EU-wide tax on kerosene would be damaging to Ireland and would punish an industry that is already heavily taxed, according to Kenny Jacobs, chief marketing officer with Ryanair.

“EU airlines and passengers are already being heavily taxed despite only accounting for 2 per cent of EU CO2 emissions,” he told The Sunday Business Post.
