Russian oligarch backs aviation venture with Irish firm Airborne

Mikhail Fridman, one of Russia’s richest men, who was named on a US ‘oligarch’s list’ of potential sanction targets, has backed a joint venture with Irish aviation lessor Airborne Capital.

Fridman, whose wealth has been valued at $13 billion by Forbes, is among the most powerful and well-off members of Russia’s influential oligarch class.
