RTE stands to make an estimated €180,000 from selling TV advertising spots during the Rose of Tralee broadcasts this year.

The contest, which runs over two nights, was the 16th most viewed show in Ireland last year, attracting a peak audience of 619,000. Its average audience share is 34 per cent.

RTE is seeking €7,300 per 30-second spot for the show.
