Rory McIlroy's management company losses rise to $127m in 2016
Huge write-down in value of golfer's IP and trademarks generated hefty losses last year
Losses at Rory McIlroy's management company have leapt to $127.1 million (€107 million), up from $19.5 million, after the write-down of intangible assets by $99.5 million in 2016.
Intangible assets mean McIlroy's image rights -- his intellectual property rights and trademarks -- which were valued at a total of $400.8 million in 2015.
