Revenues and headcount plummet at Louth firm Suretank

Revenues at Suretank, the Louth manufacturing business, fell by more than €56 million to €25 million in 2016, while the company’s headcount fell by 320 people, according to company filings.

Suretank, which makes cargo-carrying units for the offshore oil and gas industry, made a pre-tax loss of €8.5 million for the period, compared with a €9.3 million loss for the year before.
