Revenue takes High Court action against group of Deloitte partners

The proceedings were lodged against three individuals towards the end of last month

The Revenue Commissioners have lodged High Court proceedings against three partners at accountancy firm Deloitte. The three are Colm McDonnell, Niall Glynn and Kevin Sheehan.

A source said that the Revenue had taken a view on an aspect of pensions tax at many large advisory firms that was relevant to this case. The Revenue said that it was legally precluded from commenting on the tax affairs of businesses or individuals.
