Steorn, the company that promised to devise a source of free energy in defiance of the laws of physics, is still owed nearly €300,000 by the Revenue Commissioners in research and development tax credits. The company, which went into liquidation last week and is winding up its financial affairs, is owed €296,915 in special tax credits designed to stimulate innovative research in Irish business.
