Revenue loses appeal for large corporate tax bill to major share trading company

Company involved is believed to be one of the biggest market-making firms in the world

The Revenue Commissioners have lost an appeal for a large corporation tax bill they issued to a major share trading company.

In a ruling last week, the Tax Appeals Commission found in favour of the so-far unnamed global trading company. The name of the firm was redacted from the lengthy ruling.
