Report links JobPath scheme to better chance of well-paid jobs
A new report into a controversial job activation scheme for 213,000 long-term unemployed people has concluded that it has helped them to get better paying jobs.
The JobPath programme has been criticised by Sinn Féin, which recently succeeded in passing a Dáil motion calling for it to be abolished. Party members have also insisted that its only successes involved getting people into minimum wage jobs.
