The competition watchdog has asked for more detail on the planned deal to give longstanding investors in Radio Nova an opportunity to exit.

The Competition and Consumer Protection Commission last week sought further information for its investigation of the deal. Radio Nova’s chief executive Kevin Branigan said it had asked for more commercial information and detail about the Dublin radio market in general and advertisers in the market.
