Regulator approved Kevin Thompson as RSA chief without clearance from CCPC

Central Bank did not follow through on request to CCPC in relation to Kevin Thompson’s F&P application

The Central Bank approved Kevin Thompson’s appointment as the head of insurance firm RSA Ireland without obtaining information from the state’s competition watchdog on its ongoing investigation into the motor insurance sector, the Business Post can reveal.
