Bill Doherty is managing director of Cook Medical in Limerick and executive vice-president of the US-owned medtech company’s operations in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

Cook Medical makes minimally invasive technologies for vascular and nonvascular procedures. The company was established in Indiana in 1963 and established its Limerick facility in 1996. It employs 850 people in Castletroy.
