Receiver appointed to Irish strip-miner Anglo-African

A receiver has been appointed over assets of Irish strip miner Anglo-African Minerals.

The move appears to be the latest in a long-running transcontinental tussle with an Australian corporate raider. According to records in the companies office, Anglo-African has come into dispute with a company linked to investor Peter Yunghanns, who tried to force his way onto the board in recent years.
