Publisher Landmark owes AIB €16.3m

It has emerged that Landmark Media, the publisher of the Irish Examiner and a group of regional newspapers, has outstanding borrowings of €16.3 million from AIB.

The figure was contained in the petition in late June to the courts to appoint a provisional liquidator to the Wexford Echo newspaper group, which was owned by Landmark.
