Profits up at Cartoon Saloon

Kilkenny-based animation studio Cartoon Saloon posted a profit before tax of €139,755 last year, up €16,337 on 2013 figures.

The company, which was nominated for an Oscar for its feature film, Song of the Sea, earlier this year, paid €19,593 in corporation tax last year, up from €16,737 in 2013.
