Irish Multiplex Cinemas saw its accumulated profits rise from €7.9 to €9 million in 2016.
It came after a blockbuster year which saw it register a profit for the year of €1.28 million, compared to €965,287 in 2015.
The company, which is part of the famous Ward family cinema group, had 44 employees and a wage bill of €832,053. It has movie theatres in Dun Laoghhaire, Athlone, Dundalk and Killarney.
