Prize brings oncology app to new markets

Medtech start-up Oncoassist is set for expansion in the Middle East and Africa, having entered into a new partnership with pharmaceutical company MSD in Lebanon.

Oncoassist was established in 2012 by chief executive Eoin O’Carroll and brothers Richard and Kevin Bambury to develop an app-based support system for professional oncologists.

O’Carroll is a civil engineer and Richard Bambury a medical oncologist. Kevin Bambury, meanwhile, has a background in business development and marketing.
